All metadata parsing and stripping happens entirely in your browser. No images are uploaded to any server.
The cleaned images are generated by re-rendering through a Canvas element, which naturally strips all EXIF, IPTC, and XMP data.
OPSEC Note
Even after stripping EXIF data, images may still contain identifying information in the pixel data itself
(steganography, unique sensor noise patterns). For maximum privacy, also resize and slightly compress images
to break sensor fingerprinting. See the Data Privacy guide for more.
